Walking the Streets of the Blue Medina in Chefchaouen
Chefchaouen, a little town in the northern Morocco is especially interesting for tourists not only because of nearby Rif Mountains, but mainly for its beautiful, blue medina.
When I saw pictures from there, I started dreaming to visit this place and finally I went there in May 2010.
There will be more photos from this town for sure, but now I’d like to invite you to go for a short walk and meet other “walkers”.
Postcard from Essaouira

Morocco, Essaouira. Typical blue boats.
Moroccan Night on Djemaa el Fna
Paul Bowles, the writer who spent over 50 years in Morocco, said once that “without it Marrakech would be just another Moroccan city”. He was quite right, because this bustling square situated in the heart of the city, is the first place you think about, coming to Marakech.
Essaouira – beautifully designed
The first sound you hear is a constant singing of seagulls and the noise of a strong wind called “alizee” there.
Add grilled sardines, dozens of blue boats and excellent quality music and you have all that makes Essaouira so exceptional.
